Well well well! Summer finally decided to show up! It’s amazing what the sun can do isn’t it?
Anyway today,(Monday June 29th),6:30-9:30 is the big jazz gig @ Big Daddy’s in Massapequa! Hope to see you all there as I’m constantly surprised at how much of an audience there is for this “be-bop jazz” style of music, and delighted to see it I might add! Hopefully Linda and Kelly my bro will help us out with some vocs tonight!
So check this out I was having a conversation with my ol’ friend Neil from Oyster Bay and he made me realize what a mush fatherhood has made me. As we speak my son is banging on the drums right behind me!! I would have never put up with this pre-fatherhood!!! AHHH but there’s so much about being a parent to enjoy putting up with a little bangin’ on the drums is nothing! Thanks Neil hope you’re golf swing is awesome and you’re knee stops hurtin’! So my son is bangin’ on the drums which causes my new alarm system to go off!!! So now I have to call the ADT and tell’em “No No just kiddin’ HA HA my son was playin’ the drums!!” But somehow I can’t get angry at him for that!! An example of my mushyness right before your very eyes!!!(LOL!!!)
O.K. enough of my rambling the schedule please:
Tuesday June 30th- Fiddleheads in Oyster Bay 8-11 Man this is such a fun gig all kinds of talent and cool people every week baby!!!!
Wednesday July 1st-The Pine Island Grill @ The Crescent Club 6:30-10:30. The gig is going to heat up now and I miss my ol’ friends Carrie and Trish. Hey guys I hope all is well with you!!!
Thursday July 2nd-Bistro Citron in Roslyn 7-10 man last week we had so much fun I had to play to almost eleven!!!
Friday July 3rd- Not only is it my sister Nancy’s birthday, I’m playin at the gig you know and love COOOOOL FIIIIISHSHSHSHSHS!!!!! 7:30-11:30 and it’s in Syosset!!!!
Sunday July 5th- Not only are we celebrating MY birthday, The Marinara Brothers are returning to The Schooner Inn on Fire Island in Ocean Bay Park and I couldn’t be more excited to play with my bros so c’mon out and leave it all behind from 5-9!!!!!!!!
